I am so sick of hearing about Patterson's lame remarks. I experienced first hand what may have been behind Darius Johnson's remarks "I don't like these TCU people". I was on the 50 yard line several rows above our players. TCU students were to the side of us. At one point, several students were throwing out rude remarks at one of our players who was throwing up on the sidelines. Most students were fairly civil, but in the section behind us there was a "grown up" and I use the term loosely, SCREAMING out "Coach Jones, you f.... wh....". He yelled this repeatedly and then started telling him to go back to Hawaii. He had a group that chimed in with him. Every time there was a penalty against us, they all started yelling "Cheaters, cheaters.!" F-bombs were loud and frequent. I am truly disappointed not only in such low class behavior, but in rude, snide remarks I overheard as I walked across campus in an SMU jersey. What happened to class and sportsmanship? It is NOT alive and well at TCU. Sore losers.

How about their fans yelling at the team calling them quitters in earshot of recruits visiting? I saw and heard that personally.,

Only reason to go to TCU is if you didn't get into SMU. Their alumni are proof of that.

I got into both, went on my tour at TCU first. I went on my SMU tour end of story. I had a girlfriend at TCU too, didn't matter couldn't go there.

Its hard to beat SMU once you come on campus ...

tcu is just mad that we can now beat them at football, so they can't say they are better than we are at anything. tcu is a community college with a fbs football program. Look forward to continue our trend at football to shut them up once and for all.

Haha. Fair enough. It just surprises me how much the city of FW supports them. I think it's because FW has always been a step child to Dallas so they can relate to tcu being a step child as well. The difference in alumni and students between our schools is significant. i didn't even realize that their stadium (amon carter) isn't even named after an alum. It shouldn't surprise me though since it's unlikely any of their alumni probably can provide that type of support so they get it from other people in FW.

My tech friends couldn't even believe how rude TCU fans were when they played them a few years ago.

THAT is saying something
