Well we wanted in the big 12 so why is he acting weird about TCU wanting it. Something doesn't add up.

What he's implying is this:
TCU could have chosen to stay in the MWC based on recent changes to the Big East.

MWC = trip to UNLV every other year.

UNLV = endless buffets.

Endless buffets = happy [Gary Patterson]

I noticed that he did not confirm or deny the possibility of an SEC invite. So we got that going for us.

:wink:

Anyone that really thinks the SEC would consider us has to be reminded of their unwritten (I believe) rule of no 2 schools from the same state. They have A&M from Texas. If they break that rule then count on Clemson or Florida State.

EDIT****EDIT

I spoke in error. The rule is no expansion into a state that currently has a member. I am not saying this is good. I am not saying in state rivalries are bad. I mistakenly said no state had 2 SEC schools and I misspoke. I am sorry. I know some states have 2 SEC schools. But again, there is an understanding AT THIS TIME that no expansion will be into a state with a member school.

Just don't tell Vandy, Auburn, or Miss. St. They'll [Gary Patterson] their pants when they find out they've been kicked out.

Sorry. I said that totally wrong. Should have said no expanding into a state that already has a member school.
