Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?if the losses keep coming, probably.
but, they have a pretty tough schedule remaining. 6 ranked opponents out of 8 games. not good.
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill? That old blueberry lookin cupcake eating coach doesn't seem so bad now does he
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?Mangina was a good coach
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?no kidding. too bad all the candyarses these days don't like a hardnosed coach that yells at players.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?
Friedgen was coach of the year at MD and the UnderArmor boys wanted him out. Look at their record today. I will bet many people want him back. Many might have the same thoughts re Mangina.
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?Bring in Da Pirate!
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?I was just thinking Leach would be a good coach for them but because they got rid of there last coach for player treatment he is probably not a possibility (which is a shame because leach actualy didn't do anything to Adam).
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?better for Turner to have ruined his coaching career (at least as a head coach) at Kansas than at SMU (I seem to recall plenty who thought he would do well here)
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?
I'm pretty sure he did a damn fine job as the HC at Buffalo. No one wins there.
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?He did a terrific job at Buffalo, which is like winning with the LA Clippers.
As for the money it would take to replace him, maybe they should call Darrell Arthur ... ![]()
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?I do hate it for him because he was one of the best coaches I ever had. He is a good man, but that doesn't always win games.
Re: When will KU fire Turner Gill?
He simply wasn't a good fit at KU. I said that ever since they hired him. I think he should have moved to a program that's easier to win at and REALLY establish himself before moving up to an AQ program...and don't move up to a marginal AQ program, find one that actually has been decent for more than one coach's tenure.
