Collins has started before.
Gottschalk will be a starter.
Jordan Free I would think will be a starter.

here are the rest from which to choose:

52 Taylor Lasecki 6-3 296 OL FR-HS Frisco, Texas (Frisco)
76 Josh Emshoff 6-4 280 OL SO-1L Lufkin, Texas (Lufkin)
75 Kris Weeks 6-5 285 OL FR-HS Sachse, Texas (Sachse)
50 Ben Hughes 6-4 271 OL SO-1L Sugar Land, Texas (Austin)
74 Dontae Levingston 6-4 315 OL FR-HS Harbor City, Calif. (Narbonne)
60 Christian Miller 6-4 265 OL FR-RS Aledo, Texas (Aledo)
68 Ashton Duhe 6-2 315 OL FR-RS Destrehan, La. (Destrehan)
65 Jordan Favreau 6-2 279 OL SO-1L Coppell, Texas (Coppell)
58 Taylor Reich 6-7 300 OL FR-HS

I think we will be ok and quite possibly be really really good.

Not sure who the center will be and that is key in calling the line play, but as long as we have a competent center I think we are fine. Klemm has a good group and will be adding more that can red shirt and be ready as we progress.

That is my thought as well. It appears we are slowly stockpiling kids that are the right size and can RS them and let them mature and learn the system without being thrown into the fire as freshmen.

I think our skill positions look pretty good, but we'll be light on experience with both the OL and DL. That's why we need to win it all this year

The OL looks deeper than it has for a long time.

what's the story with levingston? it seems like he's always hurt even though he's not playing. i had really high hopes for him. i really hope he comes back strong next spring. seems like he has the tools to be a good one.

My guess would be ...

Collins
Gottschalk
Free
Lasecki
Levingston

Young, but probably more quality depth than we've had in a long time.

The DL concerns me more than the OL, but we will have Margus and Torlan back. Huge holes with Marquis and Taylor gone.

Jordan Favreau moved to defensive line last year.

I'm guessing:
LT Ben Gottschalk
LG Bryan Collins
C Taylor Lasecki
RG Jordan Free
RT Taylor Reich

Gottschalk and Collins are very versatile and athletic. Lasecki is a center, while Free was recruited as a guard but can play center if needed. I'm told Reich looks great in practice, and has become one of those guys who gets better every day. Give him a couple of years of lifting and practicing year-round, and he might turn into an absolute beast.
