Make UCF throw the ball

The key to victory this weekend is another quick start like we had against TCU. Godfrey is a dynamic QB, but we all know that he is not the greatest passer. He struggled when he was forced to throw the ball at the end of the game against BYU. Take the running game away from UCF and we win this game.

he's actually a very accurate passer (.67%) but he generally throws underneath and O'leary is a run first, ball control type of guy.

I know one thing, Godfrey will be Thompson, Frazier, and Margus' b*tch all day

We approach Godfrey exactly like we did the Reed kid from Memphis. Godfrey is a huge threat to run so you shadow him with Taylor Reed. Taylor has done this very well all year when asked. By slowing down the run threat with Reed, Thompson/Hunt/Frazier can go full speed on their rush without being as concerned with containment as usual. Godfrey is very accurate if given time, but from what I have seen when rushed he is not accurate at all. It will all start with a good rush but we have to have someone to be on him at all times to alleviate the running portion of his game, and that makes, in my opinion, Taylor Reed the key to our defense..

Godfrey is a good passer. Just some sophomore mistakes against BYU. He prefers to pass rather than run. Our secondary will be tested.

the biggest story from Central Florida in the win over Marshall was the resurgence of RB Brynn Harvey. Harvey is a former 1,100 yard rusher that missed all of 2010. Ran for 180 last weekend. UCF pretty deep with at least 3-4 serviceable backs

1 pass TD all year.

He might be an accurate passer, but we all know that UCF would rather run the ball. Let's make Godfrey try to win the game for them instead of just manage it.

A UCF fan's response would be that they have only passed for 1 td, but they have allowed 0 passing td's on defense. But seriously, ONE td pass...that is truly pathetic. I willing to bet that Memphis even has more.

I believe he went out for a series or two due to injury during the BYU game. Back up was fairly good.

I think we match up well given that our front 7 are the strength of our D....will still be a tough game, but we can get it done. We held them down pretty well last year...issue will be putting our own points on the board.

I believe we are 0-3 versus UCF; of course we were 0-3 going into the Memphis game

Both offense and defense have to play with a chip on their shoulders. Defense should have the attitude: Yeah, we know they have the best defense but we have a pretty damn good defense too and we're going to show it and punch you in the mouth. Offense: yeah, they have the best defense but we can put up 40 on anybody - watch us beat that [deleted]!
