As far as replacement - FIU would be the best for CUSA.

Does CUSA really need to add schools to backfill? I think CUSA might be better off staying at 9, 10, or 11 unless we add Boise State.

It just depends on how many teams CUSA loses if it is just UCF you add a team to get back to twelve if it is more than that then you possibly just stick with what you got.

It's kind of funny that CUSA will be the last conference to lose and/or gain a member. Not counting the JV MAC & Sun Belt, but it turns out CUSA was the most stable. Not great, but not terrible. Meh.

Let's see...TCU loses to SMU...goes to big 12. UCF loses to SMU...goes to big east? Is there a possible trend here?
