Drove by and saw it. Looks great. Join the Stampede.

It is great that we are doing things to be visible. The billboard, operation sell out, Thad's commercial, SMU2BCS, and the college game day signs. SMU is finally making itself visible to the Dallas and Football communities.

Are you referring to the all text billboard? SMU could have done a lot better. a giant 3-5 story banner on either side of the building next to the Raddison would have done the trick. But hey, at least they are doing something instead of leaving it soley up to the alumni...

do any of you guys know who coordinates the billboard effort for the school? please post it here, or PM me. i have a friend who with his family, owns billboards (and he, his sister, mom & dad are all SMU alums). it is their business, so they're not going to do stuff for free (although they have done some congratulatory stuff in the past like the Hawaii bowl board at lovers/greenville). I was just thinking that there might be a way to get short term access for a reduced fee on some of their vacant billboards. print vinyl (don't know if it can be re stretched after removal, but that's an idea too) that can be used all season, or even into next and pop them up and down as vacancy comes available.

i don't know. i haven't even broached him with the idea, but they're very receptive to doing things like this.

It's the ex pro soccer player, I think. I forget his name but I'll find it when I get back to Dallas. It's the guy that's not named Tim or Terry.

People on this board raised money for it, dingus. Way to pay attention.
