-TCU's path to the Big XII is exactly what SMU is hoping to emulate. They went through 5 different conferences in 12 years. Each time upgrading their competition and increasing their national exposure. He thinks SMU is well on that path too.

Part of what the Big East wants to do is bump up the penalty for leaving. They aren't going to be able to do that if Teams are trying to leave. They have no choice but to wait.
