Would the Big east not take SMU/Houston out of fear?

Postby NickSMU17 » Tue Oct 11, 2011 3:31 pm

IS it possible the reason SMU and Houston won't be asked is because the big 12 said take them and we destroy your league?

With ESPN behind Longhorn network, and already however many schools AQ in texas, I doubt any of them want any more people to have seats at the table...

Just a thought.....

Sic Rupert Murdock on them. Fox News Channel is has the highest ratings, Fox TV does pretty well. Fox Business Channel has caught CNBC. FX, Regionsl Fox, Fox College Sports Channel, add in the big eye, CBS which has a dog in this fight, and Comcast/NBC and have them offer the BE a contract which blows ESPN away and it would cost teams money to join the Big XII. If the BE had cojones, they'd leak that they were considering making an offer to Missouri and Kansas. Suddenly, Louisville is looking that perhaps their bread is best buttered with the BE.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
