Posted: Tue Oct 11, 2011 9:13 pmWell... that's not great news in that it narrows down the options. My take was that it was Temple OR Boise but I've also now read that it could be Temple AND Boise. Add Navy and AFA and it's going to come down between SMU and Houston for the last spot.

"If the league can lure Boise State, two options are available. One would be to drop Houston from the division and insert Boise.
The other would be to take West Virginia from the “west†and move it to the “east,†with either Navy or Temple then getting bumped.
If Navy continues its fence-sitting about joining the Big East, then Army, Villanova and East Carolina are possible replacements."
"Rutgers’ Board of Governors is expected to give athletic director Tim Pernetti the authority to pursue conference options during a regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday."
