I hope it finally happens. You guys have no idea how much time I've wasted in the last two weeks checking this site because of realignment news.

maybe Kate or someone at the DMN will read this and finally get on the ball with a decent story. At 5:00 this afternoon the Ticket did a report on Big East expansion and never mentioned SMU as a possibility. Where's [deleted] Hicks?

This would be a historic landmark moment for us. IF, and I repeat, IF this comes to fruition, we got serious about football JUST IN TIME. As a student at SMU from 2002-2006 imagining us in a BCS conference of any kind was laughable and absurd. My sense of urgency in regards to conference realignment has a lot to do with SMU finally understading and doing what needs to be done in order to secure us a place at the table. Had we missed out on this round of realignment I know we all believe we will be included in the next go round, but there are no certainties in this stuff. Conferences are acting out of panic and survival right now. This was our time to strike and make it happen. If we can get it done, congratulations and thank you to everyone who allowed it to happen. It means we can finally see our true potential.

Now make it happen.

Of course the Hardline didn't mention SMU. Mike only knows baseball, and Corby is a no talent assclown. Corby is a TCU alum who doesn't know anything about what is actually going on at TCU. He is just an OU t shirt fan.

I was talking about their News Staff-I mean they should have known by 5:00 that we were at least among the possibilities-they named 6 schools other than SMU

I heard the Ticker too. They mentioned f*cking Memphis instead of us.

It makes most sense to have the western teams in somewhat of pairs: afa/bsu smu/uh uc/UL
