Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianZach Line was not overwhelming in the win, but SMU's tailback did enough to give the Mustangs a balanced attack, as he rumbled for 120 yards on 21 carries. Despite the pedestrian showing against TCU, Line has been the biggest threat for this offense, which is averaging 32.8 ppg, as the tailback is pacing the squad with 583 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianBecause expectations are getting high for Zach.
![]() Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianMore detailed write up from a Kansas City paper than what we get in Dallas
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianwell, if almost 6 YPC is pedestrian "for zach", we are in real good shape.
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianit's because he didn't get any TDs
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianand he only forced ONE fumble on special teams that lead to a touchdown.

Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianEither way, it is not bad for a converted linebacker. His NFL stock is soaring too!
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianhe's a blue collar style, throwback type back.

Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianOver all a good summary but I disagree with the predicted score.
UCF has 7 sacks on the year. This from a team that is #2 in the nation Total Defense. Something isn't adding up. We have the most experienced O-line in the nation, a strong running game and playmaker receivers. I think we can put way more points on the board than a miserable 17. Heck, A$M allowed 14 and we passed up an easy FG attempt late in the game. No way UCF has the caliber of athletes on Defense that A$M has. They have some serious issues with their passing game. Under 1000 yards from their starter and all appear to be short passes the don’t produce much after the catch. We are playing at home where we have not lost and they have not won a road game (BYU and FIU). I do believe we could have a huge game. Shut these guys down and have a blow out offensive performance. We protect the ball and give our D a reasonable chance, I don’t think they can score more than 17 against us.
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianJust to clarify, that is not written by the KC paper. These are posted almost every week on here, and as has been pointed out before, they run the story from something called "The Sports Network" and have for years. No different than the DMN running an AP story on their website.
Love to have the coverage, but it's not like they are printing it in their sports section in the daily. #NewLobCity
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianthat would be one HUGE sports section

Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianYeah I think 17 is a bit low. Thinking mid 30s something like 34-24.
Having faced A&M we have faced a defense that is as good as UCF. A&M's defense would lock down and destroy the teams UCF has faced.
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrianBarring touchdowns on special teams or on defense, I really don't see UCF scoring 24 points on our defense. If we don't give up a big special teams play and don't turn the ball over on offense, then I think we're going to completely shut them down.
Re: Another preview: Zach Line pedestrian
now, there's a thought I can get behind.
