Right, but my point is it looks like the two conferences are really forging ahead with trying to make it work...and it appears to be sooner rather than later. It is possible that it becomes an ultimatum staring us in the face before we get any other invite, at which point, I think we are in.

Wouldn't it be ironic for UCF, SMU, Houston, and Boise all go to the BE and the remaining CUSA and MWC merge. Then through further attrition the BE folds and Rice wins the CUSA/MWC Championship and a BCS Bowl game.

Sooner left the building several months ago. If that was really what the bosses wanted, they would have been pushing this hard as soon as TCU dumped the MWC. The writing was already on the wall.
