Shameless Plug for Tickets
I told myself that I would never do this, and yet here I go. If anyone has three tickets that are not going to be used for UCF, please PM me as I would be thrilled to take my family to the game. I can't offer anything more at the moment than profound appreciation (and perhaps a couple beers sometime at a future game). I know that $20 per ticket does not sound like much, and 95% of the time for me it would be a no-brainer, but it is just not something I can swing this week and I think it is important that we get as many rowdy, enthusiastic butts in the seats as we can (believe me, get my 5 year old daughter going and it is a sight to behold!). If there are none available, you can be sure we will be rooting on the Mustangs on TV, but figured I would take a shot in the dark. GO MUSTANGS!

Yeah, I know. It seemed like by the time I got out here and saw them, they were already gone. This was one last-ditch attempt to see what I could do.

I appreciate that, and I by no means want to reduce anyone's perceived value of the team or their tickets. On the contrary, in my case specifically I donated to Operation Sellout and made a pledge to Thad's effort, then my job fell out from under me. My choice was honor the commitment to Thad or buy tix (there wasn't room for both), so I chose to be a man of my word. Things are looking up now, but still need to dig out of the hole so that hopefully I can be able to make the kind of commitment I want to. Like I said in the beginning, this was a last-ditch effort to see if any tickets were going to go unused. I appreciate everything the folks that PonyFans do to support the program and am proud to be a part of the community out here. And I will be cheering as loud as I can while watching the game on TV this week, and hope to meet more of you at a future game (I'm bringing 7 folks to Tulane, so maybe I can catch up with some of y'all on the boulevard then).

See, this is why I love PonyFans. I really appreciate the compassion and generosity several of you have shown. I am responding to PM's as fast as the server can send them out, but it looks like the three of us (possibly even one more) will be there screaming our heads off! Thank you to everyone who responded, and I look forward to the opportunity to return the favor one of these days.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I found someone who was able to get me fixed up, and several others who offered as well. I appreciate the replies and offers, and am thrilled my family (and hopefully a friend and her baby son who I am breaking into Mustang traditions already) will be there to cheer on our boys as the beat the [Gary Patterson] out of UCF!

Re: Shameless Plug for Tickets
Hope it works out. We need butts in seats as much as revenue. See you at the game - come by #33, if I may extend an invite on behalf of SMU89.
