Re: List The Stadiums You've Seen The Ponies Play InNot many in my case, but when very young saw a game or so at Ownby and of course a lot of games in the Cotton Bowl and then the football restart at Ownby. I saw games away in Waco, Austin, College Station and Fayetteville. Those except for the last at Ownby were while I lived in Dallas.
have traveled back to Dallas to games in the Cotton Bowl, Texas Stadium, Ownby (as noted), and Ford. Have seen games in Memphis (before CUSA), Knoxville, at Wake Forest, El Paso, and against the Universty of Florida . Go Mustangs!
Re: List The Stadiums You've Seen The Ponies Play InAll the above except Washington St. plus Owen Field(OU) for birth of the Flying Wisbone, Columbus Ohio for shocking tie of Ohio St,, War Memorial in Little Rock for Razorbacks, Fayettville when Louie Kelcher destroyed Arkansas to end SMU's 2 decades of losing to the Piggies. Shreveport for another upset of Arkansas, AstroDome for upset of OU in Bluebonnett Bowl and in Tuscalousa where Ron Meyer said he didn't want anybody to come back alive-and many almost ddn't. Hawaii Bowl, several Tulane games in SuperDome. Sun Bowl for depressing rout by Alabama. Holiday Bowl in San Diego for rout of BYU (wait) that turned into a disasterous collapse
