Should I be bitter that TCUis featured in the EA Sports College Fotball commercial? Regardless, I am. I hate the frogs, and always will. TCU sucks! FW sucks! Purple sucks!

Re: Should I be bitter that TCUMan I wish we were winning so we could be included in football game commercials too.

Re: Should I be bitter that TCUI try very hard in my life not to hate irrationally. But I hate TCU with all my being. I wish we all felt that way to the effect that we did everything in our collective power to get back to the level they've attained.
Re: Should I be bitter that TCU"Hate" is kind of an extreme word. I'd say my feeling is one of envy. And anger (that we let them pass us). I respect their accomplishments but not the school. I don't really fear playing them or feel intimidated by them. It's a possible "W" every year the way I look at it. But we need to catch up and make it a true rivalry where we win more than we lose.
Re: Should I be bitter that TCUI can't hate them. They aren't a rival anymore since they are on a different level. If not for their success many of us may have given in to the view that SMU athletics is beyond saving.

Re: Should I be bitter that TCUWon't be a real rivalry again until we are in a big boy conference.
Re: Should I be bitter that TCU
I also can't hate them. While I want to beat them every year I have a lot of respect with where they have taken their program to. Also I quite like Fort Worth. #Beat Clemson
Re: Should I be bitter that TCUIf you don't hate TCU then you've forgotten what a rivalry is supposed to be. I'd even go far as to say you have loyalty issues.
Re: Should I be bitter that TCUIf you don't hate TCU then get off this board.
Their football program is the only thing they have going for them. They are inferior in every other aspect (which made 2011 that much sweeter). It's always fun to note that while we have only beaten them twice since 2005, both of those losses cost the Frogs a spot in a BCS bowl 2005 PonyFans.com Rookie of the Year Award Recipient
Re: Should I be bitter that TCUDon't buy that game.
It is cool that they have some of our alums who are in the NFL represented in the game due to EA's agreement with NFL licensing (Aldrick R, E. Sanders, Josh L., Crawford, etc in Pony unis), but it is not cool that they put SMU, Houston, UCF etc. in CUSA and not in The American Conference. CUSA logos on field at ford and mustang Unis tell me that they did not put much effort into getting this right. Also too bad they did not get Eric Dickerson (Bo Jackson and a host of other former college greats are in the game). "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

This is incorrect. You may have to download a patch, but they have the American logos and all the teams in it represented with our actual schedule. 2005 PonyFans.com Rookie of the Year Award Recipient
Re: Should I be bitter that TCUit's not just us. everyone hates them.
Re: Should I be bitter that TCUECM is correct. They will have everyone in the correct spots.

Re: Should I be bitter that TCUThis is my so-called "hate" list:
1. The SMU administration, policies and practices that have kept SMU football (and basketball) in the gutter for the past 20 years; 2. UH; 3. TCU; and 4. The remainder of our former SWC mates. As to UH, I'm hopeful there is going to be an NCAA investigation. http://www.chron.com/sports/cougars/art ... 649117.php
Re: Should I be bitter that TCU
What makes a rivalry? Longevity? By that logic Texas or A&M is a rival. They aren't. Proximity? Then UNT is a rival. Are you prepared to be a rival with them? You have to be competitive to be a true rival. We aren't. We aren't even at the same level of college football. We are UNT to TCU at this point. In the last 20 years 26% winning percentage, and the average game has us losing by two touchdowns. ![]() We are closer to a rival with Rice since we have been in similar conference levels. Of course we haven't been very competitive there either. 35% winning but at least the scores are closer ![]() "I think Couchem is right."
