Texas backup QB transfering

Someone was going to post it eventually so maybe GG convinces him to come and hang out?

You know what they say:

If you can recruit 'em, convince them to transfer to you when they realize they won't get enough playing time!

I'm betting he heads back to Arizona, but if we could convince him to come up to Big D to take a look at the Hilltop, he might want to stick around.

We should definitely take a look. He was a 4-star QB coming out of HS that supposedly ran a 4.7 40.

That's nothing. We've got 6'8" defensive ends who run 4.6's

This kid has talent. I read somewhere that he was personally recruited to Texas by Bryan Harsin who is now the head coach at Arkansas State. I could see Harsin trying to bring him in at Arky Lite. Kid probably wants to go back to Arizona, but we should absoluely take a look at him if he's interested. We have ZERO experience at QB after Gilbert leaves at the end of this year. The more competition the better.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Brewer has no experience either. Wasn't he a redshirt freshman last year?

True, he has as much experience as any of our guys. However, he was considered to have more potential than any of our guys. End of the day we'd be ridiculously fortunate to land the kid.
