Wonder if Mumme and Phillips are Head Coaches In Waiting after 2014? Unless we start winning 9 games a year or more, I don't see Jones staying past 2014.

If June gets fired I do not see us hiring internally to replace him.

I wonder that as well. But with Mumme's well-publicized recruiting problems, it could be that he's the offensive-coordinator-in-waiting.

Would the combination of the run and shot with the air raid make it the run and raid offense?

I came up with that a while back but I did not license it. You may use it. In fact I made a custom offense in the video game called Run N Raid.

I have to admit, I stole Run n Raid from you after that. I've been trying but it hasn't stuck here yet. The old big east espn comments liked it though :D

This is going to be a very interesting year for football at SMU. I can hardly wait to see what comes of our offensive strategy. Win and Loss is still paramount. However, Run N Raid has my attention too.

I can't wait to see what happens, but like the article gets at, I'd also like to see more--if not, the occasional--hurry up play to throw defenses off their game. The set up is prime for it, and calling the quarterback over every play looks to me like a waste of energy and too much of an opportunity for the defense to recollect and coordinate--but if I knew better than June, I guess I'd be getting his salary
