He cramped up at the end at little. I think he is okay though.

Just get him to fall practice at 100%. This kid looks like an instant starter.

Amen, brother. I see another Emmanuel Sanders. Well, a bit bigger and not as fast but a baller nonetheless. Could we have 3 big time freshmen starters? (Minor, Gaines, and Taylor?). On the one hand, it's very exciting. On the other hand, it's a little sad that I am this needy for talent at this point. :-)

Just out of curiosity, does this mean that JJ and his staff actually recruited some good players? It sounds like more than one SMU bound player looked good against very good talent.

With Sanders, Robinson and Beasley all relative unknowns now pulling down weekly paychecks from the NFL, it's been a bit of a mystery why we haven't had a line of blue chips WRs forming outside Ford stadium before now. Maybe the drought is finally over and we're getting a couple of real prototype WRs in here rather than projects.

This is very exciting! Sorry I missed the game on TV!

Granted this was not the Under Armor All Star game with 4 and 5 star recruits that they were going against but looks like Taylor, Montgomery, Minor, and Rhodes are solid players.

These are 17-18 year old kids coming in to compete against kids as much as 4-5 years older than they are. Not saying we won't have a freshman start or play, because it happens every year, but temper the expectations from true freshman a little.

Good point PP4. Remember Columbus Givens got to play as a true frosh and ES redshirted. By the time 2009 rolled around it was to everyone's benefit that ES didn't finish his eligibility a year earlier

Leaving out the factor of better players, speed between high school and college is a big adjustment.
