CBS Sports says, then "Get ready to pay up"
'
I didn't see this earlier on July 30th, but "Cincinnati athletic director Whit Babcock told CBSSports.com the league's athletic directors and coaches met with the conference on Monday and member schools are prepared to do whatever is necessary."

You know I am beginning to think that at some point the NCAA is going to go to some sort of Premier League format. Where the AAC and the ACC are considered one conference and the bottom four ACC teams drop after so many years and the top 4 AAC teams move up. Same with PAC 12 and MWC or Big XII and MWC. Then the Dukes, WF's, UVA's, of the world would have to perform or get dropped to the AAC. We all know that traditions mean nothing anymore.

Imagine that all of this confusion, break-up of conferences, loss of rivalries, weird alliances.....etc. is all the result of the NCAA refusing to set up an FSB championship playoff. FSB the only sport governed by the NCAA that does not have a championship set up. The great irony is that the NCAA's refusal to act may someday end up causing the demise of the NCAA when the big conferences all leave to form their own governing association and new rules. Yes, we may be watching the destruction of the NCAA as we know it and rightly so.

PP, you mean there is hubris and greed which is blinding the tradition powers and their overpaid administrators and head coaches? I am shocked.
