the article kind of leads one to believe that our old conference has outdone us in getting quite a few minor bowl agreements. How many bowl agreements has AAC finalized? At least the AAC won't be going to hawaii- sorry JJ (not!).

It does appear our conference is getting squeezed out of bowl season. I hope Mike Aresco steps it up and delivers.

Risk and reward. We could have stayed in CUSA and had a shot (a good shot) at playing in a bunch of new and minor bowls. As it is, we took a chance and this year will have a shot at a great bowl (BSC bowl) or fewer minor bowls than CUSA.

Bottom line is win 'em all and go to a great bowl. Win enough to be bowl eligible and we are about where we have been the last 4 years.

I'd rather have a shot at an AQ BSC bowl and sacrifice the chances for new and more minor bowls.

I think the concern is that since we have joined the AAC that CUSA has added more bowls and the AAC has decreased n bowls. After this year we no longer have an auto BCS bid.

Who made the choice to pick Boca Raton over the Bahamas at the AAC offices??? If we're going to a minor bowl, the Bahamas would have been awesome.

There will be bowls for the AAC. There are still the same number of D1 teams, it will just take a little while to adjust the configuration. I'm not worried.

Not that concerned. . . The P5 gang won't fill all of their bowl slots, unless they start taking a bunch of 4-8 and 5-7 teams.
