I know this is basketball-related, but many folks only visit the football forum.

The AAC schedule has been released: http://theamerican.org/news/2013/8/21/M ... 34423.aspx

Notable games:

SMU at Cincy on New Years Day
UConn at SMU 3 days later
Defending Champ Louisville comes to Dallas on March 5

This is what a great schedule looks like. Time to make some noise!!

For those that did not want to move out of CUSA this is a good reason why it was a good move.

If you count we have 18 conference games on TV, so yes, all the games will be on national TV.

A number of us did argue that we were simply going to a CUSA-redux, just paying a second fee to re-join. Next year we lose Louisville and regain most of the former members, Tulane, Tulsa, etc. Come to think of it appears that we simply paid UConn, Rutgers, Temple and Cincinnati to join the old CUSA, with a new name...But, I don't remember anyone arguing for staying in the new/current CUSA. MWC, yes, but not the new CUSA.

UCONN, *USF, Temple, CIncy and Navy, but yes. It sucks, but those teams are better than having to play, UAB, Marshall, UTEP, USM and,Rice.

Notre Dame had to do their whole ACC dance and the BIg Ten Just haddddd to get itchy and add two teams.... gar.

This year's basketball schedule is Big-Time! Former NCAA Champions, current defending champion and a competitive team to support.

But, next year's football schedule, will probably include, Memphis, Tulsa, Tulane, Houston, UCF, Navy, and what have we accomplished?
