Interesting Kingsbury quote

Postby East Coast Mustang » Mon Aug 26, 2013 12:52 pm

Edit: KK didn't say this. Ubben is just an idiot apparently. Disregard

Kingsbury asked about atmosphere at SMU. Never been to a game there, but my instincts say that will not feel much like a road game.

Wasn't Kliff at Ford last year as the OC for A&M?

Yeah, that too. He was at UH for four seasons so he would have come here twice then as well.

Guess it wasn't very memorable for him

Yeah he's been to Ford before (early onset Alzheimer's perhaps?), but he's right that it won't feel like a road game. He's played/coached in much bigger venues and Tech fans will have their hands on far more tickets than they do for Big 12 road games.

Perhaps he has forgotten how his team will have to use the stairs to get to their locker room. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

He didn't even say it, what an idiot for tweeting it.....

@davidubben: @doug_keegan No, those are my thoughts. He actually got cut off and didn't answer. Would have quotation marks if he said that.

I went ahead and edited the original post. Ubben is a moron who needs to learn how to use Twitter in 2013 as a journalist

Didn't know the opposing team used stairs... That is interesting.
About 25 feet from the Hillcrest track... With the boots so tall and the writing on the wall...

If Webb starts he is an early enrolled freshman that has has just as much time in Kingbury's system as Manziel had since Manziel was a redshirt Freshman.

Both teams come through the same tunnel, but the visitors make an immediate right when leaving the field and trek upstairs to the visitors looker room. In fact, if you are ever walking by the North end outside between the stadium and the soccer fields you can see the player busses and usually players coming out of the side door of the looker room. They are bad as visitor locker rooms go.
