Parking on Friday

I'm trying to coordinate friends & family heading to the boulevard/game on Friday and I have to admit that I've already forgotten the new residential parking restrictions, whether they are just for UP or HP, etc. Since they're not all diehard fans I'm hoping there's a low-stress solution since the last thing I need to convince them to come to a future game is a ticket or getting towed.

Any advice on where we'll still have open parking on Friday (besides Mockingbird Station)? A little bit of walking isn't a problem. Any help is much appreciated.

Make a deal with a resident on Mockingbird Lane across from the stadium, practice field or the church. Some have circle drives, others have detached garages with long driveways. Residents on other streets may be able to provide parking on their drive in the alley. 90% of these folks are SMU Football-friendly. It's the poindexters that lobbied for the ban on street parking.

You can park in the garage at 5555 E.Mockingbird Lane, next to Mockingbird Rail Station, if you contact me in advance on Friday. I will let you in the garage. Although cars must have tags for the garage, no one will bother you for the game once your in.

Use the cash lots if you don't want to take the shuttle:

But just in case, here are the free lots:

Yes. A full 200 yards from the gate! It's a super-short walk.

Snarky comments from the SID on a 103 degree day are not in order.

SID,

What time to the cash lots open and/or shuttle start running?

Is the SMU parking infrastructure Friday going to support the women's soccer game at noon somehow?

Just wanted to say all the responses are much appreciated. Looks like I'll be directing folks to the east side of 75.

If you want to park at Parker Rd. DART station in Plano to ride down to Mockingbird, you need a
DART resident sticker on your car or pay 3 or 4 dollars to park there. Limited parking at the
DART 15th st. station in Plano but its free.

Two things that weren't made clear on that link:

1) Will the students have their cars moved out of the campus lots such as Moody Garage like they usually do for Saturday games?
2) If you are planning to use "Social Stadium" again, will there at least be enough cell signal or wifi to allow people to access the internet on their phones? This was a big problem last year, even at games that were sparsely attended.

Thanks for your answers.
