TTU Panic Thread

Postby ponyte » Fri Aug 30, 2013 4:24 am

OMG! I can't believe we haven't hit the panic button yet.

We have absolutely no chance because
TTU has a new coaching staff and our coaching staff doesn't have a clue what will be run.
We have so many question marks at every position going out to the 3rd team positions. Especially at QB, RB, WR, Slot/TE and almost the entire Oline.

I can't even think about the D line without curling up in the fetal position and wetting myself.

LB, we lost so much, how could we ever replace them?

Secondary will have so many injuries that any chance of success there will be injured early and often.

TTU will start a walk on Freshman QB and that means our D will instantly turn him into a Heisman candidate. We have seen it before!

TTU has out recruited us and is so awesome that we just don't have a chance.

Other than me and about 5 other Mustang Fans, the rest of the crowd will be all diehard big money TTU boosters. It will be humiliating on TV.

The big horsey will leave a steaming pile right before the game starts on about the 10 yard line and it will make ESPN's plays of the day.

We have no chance, Time to lose control and sob incoherently.

I know I am not alone. There is so much to panic about.

Forget about Tech, the whole program is doomed . . .
SMU will never be anything close to what it once was.

Good point, there has been no panic thread yet. In fact when I saw the subject I thought it was a link to a TxTech site where they were panicing.

I don't think this thread will get too many replies. Most SMU fans are so panicked that they are hiding under the covers. It won't be safe to come out until football season is over. Fortunately Larry Brown is here to save them once basketball season starts.

No, no, no. I am afraid that Brown will leave any day now and all our commits and current roster kids will leave too.

If our D-line holds up, we have a chance to win this one. Experience (sadly) has taught me to not get too optimistic, but I'm not panicking. Would love to see the Ponies come out and reverse the long-standing trend of bombing-out in game 1.

And yes. . .I do realize that this thread is dripping with sarcasm. Perhaps my comment is not in keeping with the spirit of this one.

Yikes! I am in a panic! I have 2 season tickets, my 86 year old mother to usher into Ford Stadium... only to find enough sedatives to keep her from yelling too much at the refs... What am I going to do? I bought two extra tickets, then sold them for too much money and now where will I spend this? Yesterday, I get a call and I learn I have 4 more tickets so I had to go out and find 4 SMU fans who would actually promise to wear white!!! Instead of relaxing, I have to coordinate this entourage... and find time for a drink...

Go @#!$@#$@##$@#$!# Mustangs?!@#$@#$@#$
About 25 feet from the Hillcrest track... With the boots so tall and the writing on the wall...

I fear Tech's mascot Wiley E. Coyote with two sidearms

Stallion meant to say he fears for Tech's mascot due to Wiley E. Coyote!
