If we are prepared and execute well we have a good chance to win. Tech is not the monster it used to be with a new staff, possibly a walk on freshman QB starting, and other new players. Coach Mason's defense should be solid as usual and if Coach Mumme can help the offense get on track we could make a run this year. Beat Tech.

Not overconfident but I just don't see a disaster like last season's opener.

While driving in this AM the Lone star radio DJ mentioned he was going to the TTU vs. SMU game. I can't remember ever hearing SMU football mentioned on any radio station since decades ago. Of course I don't get to hear Dallas Radio very often but I was still pleased to hear our game merited attention.

I think you might be giving Tech a little too much credit.

Kingsbury is a Sumlin acolyte, so prepare like you will for A&M or like we did for UH on offense. Their D coordinator faced Jones at Wyoming and AF, so Jones probably knows something about his schemes. Add in Mumme's tweaks to Jone's offense and Tech will have no clue what may happen. One thing is for sure, Hal and June can adapt and make adjustments.

I was listening as the radio the sportscaster said everyone should enjoy the blvd at tonight's Texas Tech/TCU game.
