If the announcer could know or get right the names of our players it would be even better.

Announcer calls us the Longhorns. Tell Hart to fire this guy right now during the game.

I do gets bars on my cell phone. Kudos for that. Everything is great except the announcer. He needs work. Someone give him the names of the teams and $5 to buy a program.
First play of the game..."Gilbert's pass complete to, um, number 4."

We'll have a new PA voice next week. Thanks for noticing the other improvements. #PonyUp

Thank you SID. Sounds like he might have been called in late for duty and if so I apologize for being harsh.

Excellent. I know will change the tone back to how good everything else is. Good job by all.

Improved? You mean like the promised new cell towers SMU was bragging about, that somehow resulted in a total lack of an internet connection (even though bars showed)? Tried everything, including EDGE, nothing worked. It randomly logged everyone in my group out of Uber, and there was no way back in. So there was no way to guarantee that you could get home from the game if you didn't drive (unless you are willing to bank on cabs being available, which I'm not).
Combine that with a PA announcer who called us the Longhorns and said we had 3rd and goal from our OWN 14 (oh really 3rd and 86?), and the typical audio problems that resulted in several inaudible or unannounced penalties and garbled promos, and I don't know how anyone can call that improved. Listen, I know it was the first game, but that was a big opportunity for us to impress a lot of first time attendees, and that didn't happen.

phone call or internet? I could make calls, but the internet was non-existent. I'm on AT&T but my buddy sitting next to me is on Verizon. Neither of us could access the web at all. I turned off my phone, reset my phone, switched to EDGE, tried wifi...nada.

and finally (I hope), one more gripe. What is the deal with field-level-only replays? The game was on ESPN. What is preventing us from showing replays from above? You know, where we could actually tell what happened?
ID, I don't mean to be insulting. Believe it or not, I've toned these posts down because I know you're trying to make a difference here. I would be happy to discuss this stuff with you.
