Our BCS debut

SMU began the Tech game as a BCS member school for the first time since 1995. Even if for only one year we had the chance to play as a peer with the Big Boys again. It does not look like we will get a major bowl bid does it.

and once again SMU reminds us why we have been on the outside looking in at BCS programs.

we find out next week whether we can compete at the highest level in FCS

NDSU game risks

Even though NDSU beat Kansas State, losing to them next week would kill SMU's standing in the AAC. We could end up back in the Sun Belt Conference with another loss.

It's easy to see why it's only the G5.....and the AAC wasn't included to make it the G6.

Brewer did his job but the offensive line didn't. We are not BCS qualify and except for Lousiville neither is the AAC.
