This was the best chance we have had to beat Tech in a while. I think we can win next week against Montana St.

Who do we hire that would have the capability to sign 20 four star recruits per year? Coaching ability is meaningless. Just watch tomorrow when Les Miles faces TCU. There is no secret to that beatdown.

Not that I want June fired but I do think a young energetic coach like Chad Morris would help. Tech did not have a bunch of 4 star recruits but they did have some good upper 3 star recruits. Mayfield was a walk on freshmen (that has been in the Tech system for only 2 months) and played better then our QB than has been in our system for a year.

Tech had 4 star wide recievers/lineman. But I guess that was what was so the depressing.... Tech looked high schoolish too and they still beat us. I don't want to be Texas Tech. I want the Larry Brown of Football to come in here and right away start getting the 5 star recruits. I have no more patience to WAIT anymore. Or maybe SMU can reduce its tuition to $4000 per year and increase its enrollment to 30,000?????? On another note, I am ready to see a new QB.

I think a James Franklin or Chad Morris type would so that. Again, I am not saying we should fire June just looking at the next possible hire when June decides to retire.

Hope the retirement is after this football season

That sentence should scare you that you would not have enough confidence in our staff and players to say that with certainty we would beat Montana State. Year 6 and we
think we can beat FCS teams.
