We have a Mumme and a Corpse

Postby LakeHighlandsPony » Sat Aug 31, 2013 12:05 am

Hardest loss to swallow in recent memory. We let a walk on QB look like Tom Brady.

I wouldn't say June was a corpse but he was not as enthusiastic as Kingsbury.

Wildly animated antics on the sideline sure work for Rex and Rob Ryan.

we dont want wild antics - we saw that with Bennet and it is miserable. We need well timed fire to be applied to the team - instead of the retirement home sleeping porch we have right now.

I just don't understand why we have to hire the "grandfather of" coaches. June gave us an innovative 80s offense. Hal has gotten us into the 90s. Innovation is not going to come from washed up old men.

We could make this work if he would just hire the right young aggressive staff

June's "code blue" somebody get the shock paddles look is getting old. We need some fire! Tech sidelines were going crazy. Tech assistants were mauling players coming off field. How do we buy some of dat.

What about Jason Phillips? The WRs seemed solid and JJ has a strong reign on the team. Sumlin seemed to let Kliff have more leeway.

We need a new young and dynamic coaching staff. Larry Brown is in his 70s, but he's still young. Disgusted, it's a shame so many worked so hard to prepare a quality game experience and then our coaching staff failed to step up.

I couldn't agree more. CFB is a sales job - in fact it's no different than any sales organization. You need prospectors and closers. June would be fibe closing, but we need young salesmen to get the recruits warmed up and on the plate. I would be HC for one dollars, spend Monet on he best OC and DC possible and fill the rest of the staff with high paid, highly motivated youthful asst salesmen

We need a clean break from the Jones era, he's never been one to develop big time coaching talent on his staffs.
