Tubs doing work with his new program. Just decimated a mediocre AQ program at home. We had the same opportunity last night and looked like the Keystone Cops on our own homefield.

good to see an AAC team kicking butt. Good to see them on ESPNU but ESPN tries their best to create rah rah for just about every other conference/team.

I don't think it will be ugly. There should not be that big of a talent difference since we are in the same conference and we have had a couple of classes to recruit to that level.

When you say "should", do you mean there should not be a big difference in talent if we had been recruiting well or do you mean you really think we have the same talent as them?
I just do not see how being in the same conference as them for the first year has any bearing on the relative talent level. If we were starting in the SEC would you say there should not be that big of a talent difference since we are in the same conference?

8-22 on the road
1-16 on the road versus teams with winning records

When you have the publicity of going to that conference as June has said that it should help recruiting.

Should but June said awhile ago that the conference change didn't make that much of a difference in recruiting (I think an old thread was dedicated to it).

Again with should. Do you really think that is the case or are you saying it should be like that if we had been recruiting like we should have been?

Good point. I think the teams we play in conference had okay class but not top 10 or top 20 classes. So I think we could be close. We'll see though.

Nothing makes much of a difference when you put in zero effort

I am planning to drive down from Chicago and hope the ride back isn't a long one.
