Tough time on the Tech game... but next week should be pretty exciting. Here are the highlights from Gold Rush on Thursday.

Hey, EVERY game is exciting! I don't see the point in being down on a game because it's a "play-down" type.

I met a group of architecture students from Montana St. staying in downtown Dallas today. Unfortunately, they did not realize that they were a week early, but one of them did know that their team was ranked #2.

Montana State will probably be favored

impressive showing of yellow/gold in the stands and looks like they have about the same number of fans that we do

That's about 6,000 more butts in seats than we get for a normal game.

It's all relative...they have twice the number of undergraduate and not as many entertainment options as SMU kids have in Dallas. I'm sure they also benefit from more community support than SMU does

I'm sure a lot of folks will be there supporting MSU considering we have a lot of players from Euless-Trinity. Plus there is a charter flight going down too. I'm saving my pennies just in case we make it to Frisco for the championship game.
