Mine is a bit of a deep cut. During the 2010 TCU game he trucked two TCU players.
At the same time.

Yes, absolutely. I remember him flattening Tanner Brock at the line of scrimmage. That was awesome. I also really enjoyed watching him in the 2011 A&M game. Even though it was a loss, his running against a top Big-12 defense proved to me that Zach was the real deal; not just someone who could rack up yards against Tulane.

Man I loved that play! Is there a video of that anywhere? I'd love to see it again

Know why I didn't believe he was the real deal? Because he's white. No other reason. I'd see how special he was game one or game two if he was black. An admission of prejudice on my part, that players don't have to fit preconceived molds to play a position in football. Zach Line is a damn fine running back.

I will try to find the double truck video. I'll first have to find that game on youtube or something.

There are too many to recite. But I do recall how often -- late in games -- I would see Zach in the huddle, heaving air and obviously worn out from wearing out opponents. I would say to my wife, "Zach's spent." on the next play he'd get the ball and steamroll through the defense like it was his first carry of the day. The kid gave it all, what more can you say?

Good football players never take a play off.

Truly one of the greatest to come through here. Great kid, great player, and hopefully has a long NFL career.

The first time he burst thru a hole on the line of scrimmage, faked a LB out of his shoes, and carried a safety and/or CB for 5 more yards for a 20 yard gain. I remember thinking, that guy's Mike Richardson the second. He'll fit in with this offense just like Mike did with Jerry LeVias, and Chuck Hixson

Took an outside of the box kind of coaching staff to give Zach a serious look at running back. The same kind of staff that'd give an Estonia thrower a chance at DE

Maybe I misremember the double truck or it is not in this highlight. There is a real nice truck in there anyway

Bingo. Loved that!
To be honest, though, I have a lot of favorite Zach Line moments. He's one of my all-time favorite Mustangs.
