incredibly dumb. you can't give it to the ncaaa on a silver platter. didn't they learn anything? the ncaa is the enemy. wtam won't get the dp but they will get hammered.

In one instance, the person said, a former assistant football coach asked a player to allow an incoming player to sleep on his couch for three or four nights until the dorms opened up.

This is dumb. Some of the rules the NCAA has are just absurd. I mean really? You're mad because you let a kid sleep on someone's couch?

Suspend the team for the first half of the next game....

I played football at West Texas State and was devastated to see Carthel fired for buying tickets to a stupid Texas Rangers game. all of this comes with the Buffs ranked #4 in Div. II and with a real chance to grab a national championship.

And now you're stuck with that terrible Mike Nesbitt as the interim head coach. I wish I knew more about how he helped orchestrate a 50 point swing on the betting line to Texas State last year. Fired after one game. Maybe he'll turn things around at WTAMU.

Sorry, but Carthel was THE MAN at WT. He built a fantastic program. A piece of me died when he went out the door.
