Then maybe they should be suing EA Sports for the images lawsuit.

We might as well stop worrying about being relevant or moving up to the Big Boys level. Things like this will kill the sport.
Why stop with college football? Why not high school football? Why not Jr. High? Why not Pop Warner and anything that has a football helmet involved? The sport will be killed through litigation.

Forward your panic threads to the NCAA. They will probably pay you immediately. I am sending them a picture of my 3G flashlight.

I would except I am scared to death that the NCAA would give us the death penalty again.

The NFL players are getting at least a little compensation to help with concussions. I always wonder what would be the case for college player who never went pro and did not have any representation to help if the had lingering effects. Good for them. I hope they win.

I think eventually they will eliminate Pop Warner. . . 50/50 on junior high

I think I had a concussion in almost every game I played. I had a neck nerve injury but I went totally unconscious every time i got hit in the head and the nerve was affected. I do not know if that has any relevance to concussions but I think they should pay me a whole lot of money.

That's crap. I have all the symptoms of CTE and I am seeing a specialist about it. We played the game, we knew the risk. Can these guys college or pro really look in the mirror and say they wouldn't tell the doctor what he wanted to hear? Please, I did everything I could to stay on that field. I've had three knee surgeries since graduation. I guess the NCAA should pay for that too.

Long term risks are just now being brought forth. In the NFL the doctor over brain trauma would send players back on the field even though they were not ready. The guy was a rheumatologist and not a brain specialist but was Tagligbue's friend so he hired him. He gave out a bunch of bad info on the subject. ESPN had a really good story on it yesterday. NFL would have easily lost this case had the court decided on it imo. He gave Wayne Chrebet some really bad info after he was knocked out and said it was okay to go back into the game. He was like the company doctor. Since some college players may have been in the same situation and may not have the resources to get help, so assistant should be proved imo.

If that was directed at me please know I was being sarcastic about wanting a bunch of money. I too knew the risks and do not expect any type of pay for my past injuries.

When will boxing get sued? Giving brain trauma is the whole objective there
