Does anybody have the latest information on the injuries from week 1? Particularly Rambo and Traylon

Both will sit out this week. According to Joyner's faebook it's knee sprain ... no tears .. and I believe Shead is a similar scenario

Bordano will replace Rambo? Hadn't heard a word about him during fall camp.

He looked a little slow to me (his uncle was a stud though).
I thought Yenga was Rambo's backup? (although he seems a little light for a Buck LB).

Does P Line have big shoes to fill? Absolutely. But he seems to have the body and mind to make some pretty special things happen.

^^Agree
What's really going on with KC? Seems like a perfect change of pace back for the spread. Unfortunately, P-Line looks more like frosh Z.Line. Need a big play threat.

The fact that Chris Bordano is John's uncle makes me feel really old. I remember that guy like it was yesterday.

Joyner said his injury is a "capsule strain." More specifically, the fear of possible ligament damage no longer is a concern, and Joyner said he believes he will not need surgery. He said his level of pain is decreasing consistently, and called himself "week to week." He said he expects to sit out Saturday's game against Montana State, and with the Mustangs having a bye the following week, he said he hopes to be ready to rejoin the lineup in time to face Texas A&M Sept. 21 in College Station.
Shead said he was diagnosed with a strained medial collateral ligament (MCL). "I'm just glad it didn't tear," Shead said. "I thought I felt a pop, and I thought it was worse than it is. Shead also said he has been very impressed with fellow running backs Prescott Line and K.C. Nlemchi, and said the Mustangs' offense "won't miss a beat" in his absence. Shead said he also hopes to be back in the lineup in time to face the Aggies.

Thanks for all the input.
There were a lot of players that went down during the course of the game. Is every other Mustang recovered then?

I know. Me, too. He was one of the few bright spots when I was there (it seemed he made EVERY tackle).

Some of those players looked to be doing the "JJ method to slowing down the opposing offense" as I was amazed at how little attention they got from the trainers on the sidelines after the walked off the field.............

I watched the first half again yesterday, and Hughes was playing right guard until the deep ball to JJ. During that play, he got bullrushed with an arm to the neck and then went to the bench for McCarty. Any idea on if Hughes is still hurt?

Gaines went out at one point, OK?
