What I NoticedWe subbed receivers constantly. Have we ever done this before? Don't think we have.
JaBryce Taylor is awesome. Guy already looks like an NFL type receiver IMO. Looks really fluid when he runs. Darius Joseph is becoming one of my favorite players. He is probably our most consistent receiver, but seems like Jeremy Johnson catches more deep balls. Kind of embarrassing for whoever got that ball stripped. KC Nlemchi should be our starter. He is the real deal, and gives us a whole new threat at RB. Prescott just isnt shifty and quick enough. We did the WR reverse again. Which was cool. We need to invite more middle school bands to fill the stadium. Without them filling the top, the opposing side looks empty. Put a tarp in the endzone Rice style to fill the sides more. You can [deleted] all you want about this being too close, but a lot of teams have had close games or lost to FCS teams this year. It happens. We played till the end and I don't know if I have ever seen an SMU team overcome a 17 point deficit. Gilbert showed a lot of leadership on that final drive. The last second punt return saved game. LOL @ Texas
Re: What I NoticedJust say NC State only beat Richmond by two
Re: What I Noticed
Well now that should make us all feel better. We could finally win conference. #HammerDown
Re: What I NoticedKiss of the A7M and TCU games. We will be 1-3 going into conference as expected. The question is how does the AAC schedule look. I don't see SMU winning 6 out of the next 9 games, so there iwll be now bowl in future this year.

Re: What I Noticed
K c did ok. One long run the rest for short gains or losses. Bigger problem is zero blocking skills. June went to P Line in crunch time for blocking...even with a bum leg. Nice change of pace guy but certainly not a feature back.
Re: What I NoticedDarius Joseph dropped so many freaking passes, how dare you say he is our most consistent receiver.

Re: What I NoticedGG was 35-48 or 73% for 317 yards and a TD. No interceptions. He also ran for 46 yards. He had 363 yards total offense. NOt too bad.
Oh, and all of MSU had 378 yards of total offense.
Re: What I NoticedIf not for the easy drops, GG really had good night.
Re: What I Noticed
I will say it. He is our best receiver at this time. All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: What I NoticedHe had 19 targets and 7 incompletions with 5+ that he dropped that were gimmies. I won't apologize for wanting the guy to catch gimmies. Jeremy Johnson caught 7 of 9 and Star Trek references aside that's more consistent by definition.

Re: What I NoticedDon't make me do math at 2:30 but the percentages are in favor for Jeremy.

Re: What I NoticedI know you are a big tough fighter but I am not sure you ever ran an inside slant against a safety. DJ dropped one pass and missed a passed he could have and probably should have caught in the end zone. He catches over the middle, takes big hits and holds on. Percentages do not necessarily make good receivers. I made no mention earlier of his catches or misses, I just said he was the best receiver we had. And by the way, he was named the player of the game in the post game show.

Re: What I NoticedGood for him. In the end he got the most yards and catches but to say he had the most consistency is false. I addressed that, not the yardage. Heck throw to him 80 times and he'll catch some number of them for lots of yards.
For the record I did not bring up the fighter part of this and it bears no significance. He had passes where he wasn't near anyone where he dropped it. I give credit to MSU D if they cover him but I kept count of silly drops and it was 5 at minimum. 5 catches that would have made him even better and possibly helped this game not be such a nail biter. I will say that I am sorry that you have to issue an ad hominem attack to try to reduce my points. I shouldn't have made such good ones. And just to bring back some humor (my only real motivation) here ya go, some fighter stuff since it was brought up: ![]() Leader of the Band-itos.

Re: What I NoticedOur offense seems to be coming around. GG has looked awesome in both games. However, our defense needs some serious work between now and our next game. I'm very concerned about the D.
