The only thing worse than the way the team played was the attendance. In the long run, the empty seats will be the thing that eventually dooms the program.

I blame the heat. If it isn't so hot, we have more. Probably around 1-2 thousand more. Still not a good showing.

Watching highlights on ESPN, and seeing how full all these stadiums are, makes me wonder how some of yall actually [deleted] about us not recruiting better players. What player would want to play here? Even if june had 5 consecutive 10 win season there would still be less than 15 k tonight. And that is including the mini mustangs and junior high bands. Like I say, there are at least 100 high schools in Texas with better game atmospheres.

I sincerely feel sorry for you folks in Dallas. Only 10k, that's pretty rough. The P5 looks at stuff like that and I'm sure the players find that disheartening as well.

Yawn, Larry Brown has to deal with the same thing and he has landed 2 5 stars in only 18 months on the job. Our recruiting sucks because no effort goes into it not because the stadium is empty.

That's not how it works. You win first, then the fans come. It's the same for any team. We keep losing to SWC teams, the stands will stay empty.

Hard for anybody in any position of power to be upset with the crowd tonight when this is what they asked for with the schedule change.

I was actually impressed how big the crowd still was at the end of the game.

We tried to do the Red! Blue! cross stadium cheer in the third quarter and I walked up to every pocket of fans I could see in the next five sections and told them about the cheer. What did they do went the students yelled Red!? Nothing. What kind of piece of [gary patterson] fan leaves the student section hanging like that?!? Seriously, [gary patterson] the fans we have...

1 - Tulane always reports 20k. Usually that means they have 5k.
2 - Looked like about 14.5k to me...butts-in-seats. Nice crowd from Montana State and the west side was reasonably full between the 20s.
