How far we have fallen? How did we get to 0-2?

nope. just saw all the headlines on the football forum and figured we lost by 30.

LHP, Normandy was great! just got to Paris today. the girl is asleep, so i found an nfl link online. finally watching some football!

seems like a lot of people need to lighten up, though. we're 1-1. right where we thought we'd be. it was close, but a W is a W.

now have 2 games to watch when i get back Friday!

meh, if you watched the game you'd see that we have A LOT to work on. defensive and offensive line got absolutely manhandled by an FCS team (idgaf if they're ranked #3, theyre still FCS). we also have huge problems in the redzone. I'm asolutely terrified of A&M and TCU cause the way we're playing they will both drop 50+ on us

When you watch this one you will understand why people are upset. We were physically dominated by an FCS school. A good FCS school, but still.

We were not dominated. It was a fairly even game. We have a lot we can improve on, as Lebanese4Life said, but we outgained them by almost 100 yards with a makeshift offensive line and without the guy who was supposed to be our starting RB. Our defensive front 7 is replacing a lot of starters from last year, and at times, it showed against a pretty big MSU line.

There's no question we miss Randall Joyner, although Brandon Henderson deserves some credit for that late sack. He was out in wide open space, 1 on 1 with the that QB who made people miss all night, and Henderson made the play. Good on ya, 52.

Sure. We won.

Although, this is the equivalent of the Heat winning a playoff game, but LeBron, Bosh, and DWade all tearing their ACLs.

Yes, a win is better than a loss, but the events of the game gave absolute zero hope to anyone who watched for the rest of the season.

You make it sound like their is a possibility that we not do that well this year.

TCU lost to Northwestern State in 2001...a week after they beat us by 4 TDs.

These games do happen - glad we did not lose the game and kudos to the team for pulling it off. You just have to hope that the team that played Tech in the first half shows up against ATM and TCU or it could be ugly.

Most of us had 1-3 or 2-2 coming out of the non-conference. Both of those options are still possible...

I planned on 1-3 in non-conference, and we are right on target. I have no expectations for the next two games. Not even worth gettting stressed about. Anything positive that comes out of either game will be pure gravy. I'm looking forward to Rutgers.
