WHAT IF...

Postby ponyfan777 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 6:09 am

So, what if after a nice long week off we do go down to A&M and pull out a win? Then we go to TCU and do the same? Can both games be won, or are we looking at 2 straight blow-outs?

Well, let's think about that:

SMU just barely beat a 1-AA school, while A&M haas a heisman trophy QB and blee us out stringky last year while having a great year in the SEC. What do you think the odds are?

What if we win the rest of our games this year, Gilbert wins the Heisman, we win the national championship, we get our own Mustang Network, are invited to join the SEC, Saban replaces June, they expand Ford stadium and we routinely get 100k+ fans per game?

I mean, why not guys? "why not us"

As much as it goes against my being to root for the Aggies this weekend. I'm going to do it. I want them to be overflowing with confidence when they play us and ranked #1. A flat first half by the Ags, a sharp first half by us and we may be able to hold on and win. I don't want an angry Aggie team atoning for a loss to Alabama. TCU we've beaten at times. To be honest neither of their QB's have impressed me thus far. We just need to force them to pass. if we can do that, they may be mortal.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

what if Kate Upton walked into my office and shut the door and just got naked?

what if Ed McMahon came back from the grave and rang my doorbell with a $10,000,00 check from PCH?

what if Nick Saban said eff it, I hate Bama, I'm going to S..M..U?

what if God was one of us? just a slug like one of us? just a stranger on the bus...trying to make his way home?

Ponyfan777,

On a more serious note:

If A&M beats Alabama, and we go to A&M and beat them, I promise to donate one full paycheck to SMU.

That is both a commentary on how little of chance I think we have (and I'm usually one of the postive ones on this board) and how little I make.

Yeah, I'm a "sunshiner". But even that has limits.
