SHOCKING

Fluker used to live in a car with his mom and sisters at times. The kid was dirt poor, wave cash in front of his face to help take care of his family, what do you think he's gonna do.

I used to not like the idea of paying players AT ALL, but I get tired of hearing about these recruiting violations over and over especially since they don't really bother me

Like I keep saying. Bring Sherwood back in to the fold. . . NCAA has proven they aren't going to do a "damn" thing about cheating.

Let's wait and see. Just like Texas and A&M got mad and picked on little ole SMU, the other big conferences are getting jealous of the SEC. We could be in a perfect storm of the NCAA trying to keep control and 4 of the big 5 conferences crying foul while covering up their own bad doings. I will be interested in seeing if this plays out like it could.

How [deleted] would Tennessee have been in recent years if they hadn't been paying those guys?

Unless it is a small school like SMU.

One fully expects Vanderbilt to be hammered by this. Nice private school just ripe to get hammered for the big boys sins.

Or just not a traditional power. Like they said in Pony Excess, "That's going to attract attention". The NCAA is poking around Ole Miss right now just because they had such a good recruiting class.

At the NCAA offices "Hey, guys, Ole Miss just had a great recruiting class, must be cheating since they were in the Top 10. Time to pretend like we give a rats asss or do anything"

Anyone not named Bama, Texas, Ohio State, USC, LSU, Michigan, Florida State, Florida, or Notre Dame is going to get boned

NCAA no longer has the cojones to give a college the "death penalty!" Hell, they can't even conduct a proper investigation (see Miami).
