With the Ok St. article, autograph (Manziel, Clowney, Bridgewater), and now the SEC teams, has the NCAA become paralyzed by all of this stuff? When are they going to drop the hammer?

If they were small programs they would drop the hammer.

In short, Saban was bullying the reporters and he can get away with it. This is what happens when you are untouchable.

Honestly, the folks that investigated this didn't even talk to him? He wants folks to believe he didn't read about it. OK, maybe. But does he really expect a decent press corps to accept that the university's investigation excluded questioning the head coach?

But I bet the statement makes crystal clear sense to the NCAA.

he couldn't do that in the NFL - which is why he went back to college. These guys and their egos - they love being a big fish in a small pond (well, in the case of Tuscaloosa, a sesspool).
