I'm too lazy to create a log in at killer frogs, so I'll post it here. But Gary Patterson should be fired after tonight. Terrible performance. He clearly doesn't recruit well. And his offense sucks. And sometimes he wears a black shirt. When does his contract end?

He recruits well but his starting QB is out. If Pachall started they would have won imo.

The offense definitely sucks but something tells me Fatterson has a pretty long leash (perks of turning a program into a national power).

Firing Fatterson would be [deleted].....I don't even like the guy but I respect what he's done for their program.

Gary Patterson is mostly greatness as a football coach. Not having a qb on the bench better than a hobbled Boykin is almost inexcusable 13+ years into building this program (yes I know Paschall was the starter so Boykin's effectively his 2nd stringer).
Patterson's going to have to step up his offenses if he's going to win Big 12 championships. If they have an offense that can sustain drives, they win that game by 20 (yes they had a lot of yards but had trouble sustaining drives, in the red zone and with horrific calls).

They are really missing all those guys who left the team in the offseason.

TCU actually has a 4 star QB ranked about No. 6 in the Country who is a redshirt freshman. Tyler Mathews. You might just see him soon if Boykin plays like he did last nite. Patterson deserves a lot of criticism for his first half gameplan-wasn't it something like 4 carries for their RBs in first half. They should have been running Wayman James and Catalon all game.

I couldn't figure out why TCU didn't give their RBs the ball more.

TCU will probably switch to their freshman QB against us.
SMU is pretty good at discovering opposing teams talent with their freshman QBs

In practice next week, all available QB's will go down to injury. Patterson will make a campus-student body call for someone who can play QB, they will find a kid who played up unitl his junior year in HS, they will put him through 3 days of practice, and by the time the game ends...we will have made him the odds on favorite for the Heisman.
