Rutgers game question

I looked at the schedule and the start time for Rutgers is still listed as TBA. Is there any sense yet of whether this is going to be a day game or night game? My 5-year-old son wants to go to an SMU game and I was looking at this one. But I don't want to buy tix until I know the start time. If its a night game, he'll want to leave mid-way through the first quarter and it will be a big waste of money. Perhaps SID can give some guidance?

83 I hear you, I am hoping for a 2:30 kickoff or later so I can catch a flight into Dallas that morning. I'm sure it will be 10 days before kickoff before the announcement is made

I'm hoping for a late game because it makes tailgating more fun.

your welcome. as I type this if you go to the SMU web site
http://www.smumustangs.com/sports/m-foo ... sched.htmlit says TBA. but the game is already sold to all the parents and families at 7PM. my point is that I often find the SMU web sites behind in listing updates. this stifles ticket purchases.
today Sept 17th, go here
http://www.smumustangs.com/tickets/index.html#mbbsays men's basketball schedule is "coming soon".
I found prior delinquent schedules and altered Hart about a month ago. those incidents were updated but here we are again. delinquent information. in this age of instant messaging the SMU web sites have no excuse not to have the most up to date information.
just venting.

Maybe it's more of a statement on SMU's commitment to athletics. Not emplying anything just throwing it out there.

7pm is the default setting for all of the TBA games.

TV times for these conferences are all controlled by the networks. Nobody is to blame. Big 12 Fans and SEC fans have dealt with this for years every week. SMU has very little say whatsoever

So, does this mean we can blame Jones anyway for this?

Thank him or blame him, but he helped raise the profile of the program to the point that the TV networks want us as filler.

Just saw this (again, email me and you'll get faster answers). Kickoff NOT set yet. We will find out Monday, Sept. 23. All games will be 12-day picks by TV.

So, you're saying this is Jones' fault?

We can blame Jones because he made us relevant. We get more TV exposure, so we have to cater to the TV networks.
Life was so much better when we S**ked. Better game times. Cheaper tickets. Lower Mustang Club donations. Etc.
