In The Good Old Days, SMU Used To...

Postby smumustang1980 » Wed Sep 18, 2013 3:59 pm

Take Peruna to some of the away games...

We wore red and grey...

We wore blue...

We didn't make excuses...

Look the other way when the old man let me in as a kid at the Cotton Bowl ramp gate for a free game...

Played Arkansas in Fayetteville...

The Mustang Band played after the game on the field...

The girls were harder (and more fun) to chase and catch...
About 25 feet from the Hillcrest track... With the boots so tall and the writing on the wall...

I've never known anyone on here to post as often as you do yet say so little of interest or consequence.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Every time we play tech before the game, they should show that video to remind the kids what we were before... Top 5 in the nation
