Trick Plays

Postby LakeHighlandsPony » Thu Sep 19, 2013 2:53 pm

Even the great Coach Saban had to dig in his bag of tricks to come up with a flea Flicker to kick start the Alabama Crimson Tide Offense. June would not even consider it. I still cant figure out why we did not try it in Tech game.

For us, handing the ball off is considered a trick.

We ran a couple of reverses to Taylor so far, those are still considered trick plays right?

Would live to see some throw back plays like the one we ran against Kansas at the Ford opening game. They will be teeing off and it might catch them.

Just had to throw it out because I know what I say doesn't matter.

Have they been reverses or end-arounds? Serious question - need my memory jogged

My mistake, they were end-arounds as Gilbert play-faked to the back and tossed it to Taylor coming right to left.

I recall Scymancski running for a first down instead of punting. I think it was the first Hawaii Bowl
