Reduce penalties, take care of the football (no fumbles) and play discipline and we can beat TCU. TCU has a good team but does have some weaknesses.

The team won't expect to lose but they probably don't have the talent or coaching to do anything about it.

Let's go into this game with a positive attitude even if we lose.

Please...just show up and play fundamentally sound, competent football. Keep the dropped passed in single digits, and maybe try and draw fewer than 16 penalties.

They should have concerns but much like Aggie fans they don't seem to realize that we're going to play right into the strength of their defense and don't have the talent to stop their offense.

Sadly I think our players put in L on their calendar. I think from the beginning they circled the 8 weekends that "matter" to this coaching staff probably even rick hart. I think this season would have been a lot better if the attitude was different. I know it's beating the dead horse but every time I look at our 1-2 I keep seeing 2-1 and realizing it was just an illusion.

I am sure the team will go into this game with a positive attitude, just wish this board would do the same. I believe we will play TCU tough and if we play up to our potential (minimize penalties, turnovers and special team mistakes) will have chances to win this game.

Attitude means a lot.

These posts "well i hope the team doesn't think like you!" are some of the most idiotic on ponyfans (aside from those saying we could beat a&m and that you should take smu and the points...).

I hope Gilbert can throw the football better than people on this site. I hope our defense is faster than mrydel.

PS. You don't play for smu. What you think about the game has exactly zero impact on the outcome. Hard to believe, I know.

Okay, okay. I guess I will expect to lose to TCU and think the team should expect to lose to TCU. I guess I will join the crowd that believes the "real" season starts with conference play.

Right or wrong I hate reading on here that our kids don't have the "talent" to win.

It makes me wonder what the bloody Nora PonyFans is here for. Sadly it has just occurred to me that it is not about being fans of the Ponies at all but where people come to try to show they know more than everyone else.
