I disagree. We will have the ball run down our throats this weekend don't worry. And next weekend as well against Rutgers. aTm ran the ball about 5-6 straight plays sometime in the 2nd quarter I believe as if they were just practicing. Gashed us for at least 8 yards a pop each time, same play. As for 3 deep, who's our 3rd string NT? Reed is our 2nd string NT? He's terrible. Our offensive time of possession has actually been pretty good relative to the competition (per ESPN box score):
29:04 SMU vs 30:56 aTm (they scored quick though)
33:29 Montana St vs 26:31 SMU (they had 160 yards rushing!)
28:37 TT vs 31:23 SMU
Our D all the way around is just terrible, plain and simple which is a little surprising to me (Mason's checked out to, I believe . . . I don't think he wants to be here -- he wants to be a HC somewhere). Anyway, I hope our run D improves with Rambo, but TCU will run it down our throats and that's how they will win. Pretty simple formula.
