Got the below email from athletics department. I would have given my left nut to be there at 5 am frying frog legs on the TCU Campus. Hope they hype this all around campus today and get some motivated students out there showing support for our team and the rivalry.

CNN Headline News will be broadcasting live outside TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium on Friday, September 27 from 5 am – 9 am. In a segment called "Rivalry Express," Robin Meade of HLN's "Morning Express" will highlight the upcoming SMU vs. TCU football game. We hope you will join Peruna and the SMU cheerleaders as we fry up some frog legs and show our SMU spirit during this live broadcast. Doughnuts and "Fry the Frogs" giveaways will be available for all attendees.

How many fans do y'all think we'll bring to TCU?

I hope to God that SMU is doing something to bring some SMU spirit to TCU in the early hours of Friday morning. Chance to surprise people on TV. I fear there will be no SMU presence at all.

RGT, Hart and everyone else involved in this University should be planning on ways to get as many students there as possible and show as much SMU pride. This is a big opportunity and we can't let the froggies show us up.

Yep, same one I got but in addition we at least need a couple hundred frat boys/sorority girls all hopped up on red bull/vodka's from the night before frying frog legs. Man I want to be in college again, ha.

Excellent. Then can we please WIN?

TCU won't be caught sleeping this time like they did in 2011. They are desperate for a win (probably more than us). I hope we come out and battle like we did against TTU the first 3 quarters.

Is Robin Meade out there? She is the only reason that I ever watch HLN.

Very good turn out. Could not watch a lot at work but I saw Peruna and some SMU student painted in blue won an eating contest. Looked like the cheerleaders, pom squad and several more there.

Just glanced at our lobby TV and it is still going on. I think TCU is getting a little more exposure but it is their house.

I watched this morning - it was great. We won the rib eating contest - guess we were lucky Gary Patterson didn't show up!

Kudos to the students and spirit squads out there early in the AM!

Yeah, the folks that were there did a good job. It would have been nice to have a pep band though to drown out the TCU fight song.
