41-7 In Second Half. I Will Finally Say I Am Over June

Only way he could make me a supporter again is to go 7-1 or 8-0 in conference. Is there anyone in the world who gets paid 2 mil a year, without really high expectations or stress, yet hates their job so much? I mean the guy has to win 7-8 games and he is fine. Just looking at him the last few years the guy absolutely does not want to coach here. This team is just miserable to watch. Like I said in the game thread, I literally screamed NO! when we blocked the punt and didn't run it in, and explained to those watching with me I was mad because I knew we would not score! The entire team is bad. I am watching all these other games wondering if we have a single starter that could start at most BCS schools.
Anyway, I have always been a June sunshiner, and many people who do not follow SMU football would think we are crazy for firing him after 4 bowls, but he really has to go.
And wtf is up with the special teams coach hire? I was baffled by the hire, but our special teams is terrible.

We promoted from within, former video assistant and director of quality control (offense), whatever that means.

I think mustangs Abu and Jason are now the only two June til death ponyfans. Ponyboy will defend him, but realizes he needs to go.
Welcome to the dark side rebel.

Holman tip-toes in the end-zone...it looked like he was incorrectly deemed out-of-bounds...no challenge
Gilbert tackled, fumbles but his knee looked down...no challenge

Holeman stepped out. Replay was clear.

I think the call on Gilbert was correct also. He fumbled.

Looked okay on the TCU Megaton but okay...I'll take your word for it. I could add several missed pass interferences that went uncalled..
The point is, he doesn't fight for his team on the field...ever...and he doesn't even use his time outs strategically...so what's the deal?

I swear there has been a magnet field pulling Holman out of bounds since he got here. He doesn't know where he is on the field. Last week in open field he simply ran out of bounds rather than cutting it up. We don't get guys open enough to do that. Just not a physical player. BTW TCU broke another home run on us on that play we complain about. The play ain't that bad-its the lack of physical players and downfield blockers

He certainly has no time management. He has never been a fighter. I believe he thinks he has earned the right to have calls to his way and when they don't he does not know how to act.

The difference most teams don't have parks and Scott trying to make the tackle. It like we are playing with 9 guys on D.

Lack of positional awareness was a theme today. At least 3 times players allowed themselves to be tackled within reach of the 1st down line without making an effort to reach it.

The second half scoring fest by TCU didn't happen because TCU is so awesome. It took SMU committing every mistake possible to give TCU the opportunities to score.
SMU committed so many errors (poor punts, poor punt coverage, one 1 yard for 1st down conversion, poor turnovers, sacks, inability of t=receivers to get open and on and on). That second half looked like a Caven team in its prime. Mistake after mistake after mistake. Its as if the team ventured through the worm hole to arrive back in mid to late 90s where players fought like Hades to make killer mistakes.
